Moving Mountain by NORDSTERN/LAAX was conceived as a progressive mountain festival format combining electronic music, visual culture, nature and community into a contemporary alpine experience. The project aimed to create a new kind of destination festival — one that felt immersive, emotionally driven and deeply connected to its surroundings rather than purely event-focused.
Elia contributed to the creative and operational development of the festival concept, helping shape the artistic direction, experience design and production framework. His involvement focused on building authentic cultural moments that connected music, landscape and people while translating an international festival aesthetic into the unique environment of the Swiss Alps.

LAAX art+culture is a long-term cultural initiative developed to expand the identity of LAAX beyond sport and tourism through art, music, film, design and community-driven experiences. The platform was created as a cultural operating system for the destination — activating existing spaces, collaborating with artists and developing interdisciplinary formats that create emotional and social value for both guests and locals.
As Co-Founder and Operational Lead, Elia played a central role in building and shaping the initiative from the ground up. He developed and produced exhibitions, concerts, open mic formats, artist residencies, film screenings, workshops and creative collaborations while overseeing operational workflows, artist relations and cultural programming. His work helped establish LAAX art+culture as an authentic and evolving creative platform within the alpine environment.
